Giving to NRAP

NRAP has given me a safe place to go where I do not feel pressured or judged for being sober. The people in NRAP really care for each other and provide a wonderful community of support that cannot be found anywhere else at UNR. Being a part of NRAP has been a life-changing experience.

The above testimonial expresses one member’s thoughts about Nevada’s Recovery and Prevention Program (NRAP). We have designed NRAP to be a warm and inviting community where students choosing a sober lifestyle can connect, grow, and thrive by sharing their commitment to health and wellness. Besides over seventy peer members, NRAP had 2,400 student visitors last year. As the peer-driven, recovery services arm of the Center for the Application of Substance Abuse Technologies (CASAT) at the University of Nevada, NRAP welcomes any NSHE student to take academic courses in addiction, attend recovery support meetings, participate in service or alternative activities, and spend time in our Center.

Your financial contribution will help support students who identifies as being in recovery or those students choosing a substance-free lifestyle have a positive experience while attending the University and strengthen NRAP’s ability to change the stigma associated with non-substance use on our college campuses.

Join us in helping students to embrace a healthy future – together. If you have any further questions, please contact us and we will be happy to assist you in any way.
