When I first came to NRAP at the beginning of the Fall 2012 semester, I was out of touch socially and had no community to which I felt that I belonged. After spending the semester going to groups and becoming involved in the NRAP program, I have become immersed in the sober community within its foundation. Because of this involvement, I have thrived emotionally, socially, and academically. The social support provided by the NRAP community has been crucial to my success in college and in my life beyond this campus. Furthermore, it has aided in the formation of a group of like-minded individuals on whom I can rely and can rely on me. N-RAP has been most beneficial for me and has contributed to my success and I believe I would not be where I am today without it. I am grateful to the program and the people who make it happen.
