Project Director

An alumni of the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR), completing her Master Degree from the College of Education in Counseling Educational Psychology with an emphasis in higher education, Ms. Hamblin has had over 20 years being a Nevada resident, student, educator, and professional. Ms. Hamblin’s commitment in workforce development, specifically in the behavioral health field is reflected through her achievements thus far in her career. Currently, Ms. Hamblin is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and Board Certified-Telemental Health Provider (BC-TMH). As a Senior Project Manager, Ms. Hamblin has worked for UNR’s Center for the Application of Substance Abuse Technologies (CASAT) on multiple behavioral healthcare-related workforce development grants and contracts for the past 17 years. Currently, she is the Senior Project Manager for the National Frontier and Rural Addiction Telehealth Education Center (NFARtec), which serves as the national subject expert and key resource on delivering addiction treatment and recovery services in frontier and rural areas using telehealth technologies and the Pacific Southwest Addiction Technology Transfer Center (PSATTC) subcontract. Ms. Hamblin is also Principal Investigator for HRSA’s Behavioral Health Workforce Educational Training Grant, serves on the CASAT Senior Management Team, manages CASAT’s academic programs, and provides oversight to multiple addiction technology transfer contracts. Lastly, Ms. Hamblin served as a certification/licensure liaison for the Mountain West ATTC six state region and led the Leadership Academy, a six-month long program offering a unique opportunity for behavioral health professionals to explore their skills and leadership potential through a variety of learning and experiential modalities only driving her passion in building leaders in the field.
